The wooly bolas pillow is one of the rare pillows that allow the customer to adjust the loft. Need it firmer? Add some bolas. Need it softer? Take some out. This one is always just right! A fully adjustable pillow!

Our newest pillow features little clusters of organic wool bolas which are encased in a zippered organic cotton sateen case to adjust your wool fill as you wish and an optional outer envelope case in a beautiful organic cotton knit.  The Organic Wool Bolas provide an optimum fluff and density for a pillow. The bolas is also known as wool down or wooley puffs.   All covers and fill are machine washable. Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth. Made in the USA.

The fill of this pillow is Organic Wool "Bolas" or little round bits of wool. Typical wool pillows have carded wool, or wool that has been turned into "sheets" of thick wool which can't be altered once inside a pillow. The advantage of the wooly bolas pillow is you can add and remove bits of wool as you please to create the perfect pillow for you! The pillow has a zipper case so you can add or remove wool. You can also add a removable outer case made from a gorgeous floral stretchy knit.

Our other pillows (cotton, wool, and kapok) all tend to compress somewhat over time. The advantage of the Wooly Bolas pillow is that you can add more wool as it naturally compresses to keep the loft you prefer. The pillow comes with a generous amount of fill, but if you need more, you can buy extra Wooly Bolas fill.
