Truly ecofriendly mattresses are locally made with local organic ingredients for the lowest carbon footprint possible. Earthsake mattresses are made in the USA (unlike many others) using local natural ingredients like PureGrow wool from "happy sheep" roaming free in Marin & Sonoma County and organic cotton grown in California. Natural, healthy, and LOCAL so we have one of the lowest carbon footprints in the entire mattress industry!
We carry organic innerspring mattresses, natural latex mattresses - or a combination of the two. The choice is yours at Earthsake. Our natural organic mattresses contain no chemical fire-retardants and no additives of any kind. The natural latex organic mattresses are made with 100% pure natural latex - no additives - NO VOC's - no petrochemicals - no memory foam chemicals - NO PBDE's! Earthsake Organic Mattresses are filled with organic cotton and layers of organic or PureGrow Wool to add softness, support, natural fire-retardancy and body temperature regulation (which keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter). The perfect combination of natural ingredients for perfect sleep! For those on a budget we carry an eco-friendly mattress that is not organic but as pure as we can make it without the use of wool. We also have a mattress that is entirely made of Hemp and another made of only organic cotton. Mattresses without wool are treated with a non-toxic powder for fire-safety (unless you have a Doctors prescription) so we always recommend getting an Earthsake Organic mattress with wool inside to stay away from any chemical additives or fire-retardants. We offer a variety of price points and levels of purity based on your specific needs. Each mattress is custom made to order. Those with unique allergies or chemical sensitivities should let us know what these are in advance so we can custom fit you to the correct mattress or have one built just for you.
